A trip to the Philippines 

I was in the airport so I could go on my flight to the Philippines the flight was in one hour, I was excited to go on the plane, it was my first time on a plane, I got to eat on the plane and watch a movie on the iPad it took so long to fly it took an hour to set it up, finally, it took off, my brothers were already sleeping and I was like “don’t sleep!!!!!” We can watch a movie.

After two days we arrived in the Philippines. It was already hot there. First I visited my grandma, then to my cousins, grandpa, and my other grandma, I was there for two weeks. We went to the swimming pool and the beach. My cousin and I made sandcastles and swam on the beach.

I was getting ready to swim after I finished swimming. We had to go back home when I was back  I gave my cousin a PS4, he liked he said thank you I was helping him set up the Ps4 so we could play. After two hours we finished the setup and now we could play Call of duty black ops4. I was happy that I was in the Philippines so I couldn't be bored at home. I was hot after swimming on the beach but I still had lots of fun. I was getting sleepy when I was playing on the PS4, I slept first then I played again. But I played on my computer because I was getting bored with the PS4, I was watching on my laptop. 

We went out to see what was going on in the city, we went to Mcdonalds to eat then we went on a blue tricycle with seats on the back (motorcycle was blue) it was so cool to go on one of those so it was easier, there were no traffic lights there so everybody just drove it was busy so we had to wait a long time, I was getting so sleepy so I slept for a while we were waiting and I said this “hurry up already!!!” then we went, it took a long time to go.

When I woke up we were in my grandad’s farm with chickens, I carried one of them and they were so fluffy, her name was Sarah she was still a baby so I carried her softly. I got really hungry luckily there was food, there was donut’s, pie’s and a sandwich, I ate all of the food on the table I got really full.

After two weeks I went back to Auckland.

The time I got a scar

When my mum was pregnant with me, she had chickenpox and while I was inside her womb, I was infected with it. That’s why I was born with one blind eye. I always have a hard time straightening my head because I need to use my good eye. 

But good news is, the doctors can fix it. Although it will always be blind, they can do something to make it open. I just need to decide when I want to do it. I think I will do it when I’m 16 or older. I want to do it at 16 or 18 years old because I can get really nervous.

I am happy that my friends and the kids in my school don't think any less of me. My family also says that I am extra special because I can do whatever anyone else can do, sometimes even more. 

I think other kids like me can do anything. You just need to be confident and proud of yourself. With me, I want to be a basketball player so I can get stronger and better just like other kids are.

Having one blind eye is not too bad. If you think of it, it could have been worse. That’s why I am still thankful and I’m not gonna let this stop me from following my dreams.

the time I swapped my brother for a bike

Do you feel like your brother is getting annoying? 

This is the time I swapped my brother for a bike. I saw somebody with a bike and I asked him if he wanted to swap my brother for his bike and I said “do you want my minion toy or one other toy?” He said, “can I look at your family members ?” He looked at them and said “I wanna take him” I said, “ can I have the bike now?” I was on my new bike.

  I saw him give my brother to someone else and I was mad so I told him to give it back and then the next day he tried doing it again I was getting annoyed by him. I think he wanted to swap with me because he didn’t want his bike, this time I ignored him and did a wheelie (i almost fell) he was giving him to the same person!

 I was getting tired of him so I sneakily took the brother back while he was doing something else and ran off with my brother in between my legs, my brother was about to fall but I held him by the shirt.

Why big brothers are helpful

Why  big brothers are helpful 

The reason I chose this speech is that I love my older brothers. I love them because they care for you whenever you’re injured. They help you with a question that is hard at home, you can ask them to get something that’s high and they’ll help you score a point at basketball. 

They play with you when you're lonely and they give you a piggyback, they always play video games with you. They buy you anything you want. You can tell them to do something and they’ll do it. That's why having older siblings is awesome and cool. They make you laugh whenever you’re sad and lonely.

They accept all the challenges you tell them to do and they’ll do it. They make fun games to play (outside or inside) and they always buy me anything. They like to do different silly dances.

The most important thing is to love your older siblings and they’ll love you too. They will do anything for you. They let you play on their consoles every day for one full hour and they let you watch Netflix every time you get bored and you go on their consoles. That’s why I love my older siblings because they do things for you.

They do embarrassing things when we’re at the mall. I like to have my siblings, they let you play video games and whenever I verse them they always get competitive. Yet I still win, they do anything for me and I will do anything for them. The best thing is they care for you, even if you don’t like them they’ll always be with you. Cause you have the same blood.

I like to watch movies with them because it's more fun than just watching by yourself. I love to spend a lot of time with my brothers because they don’t do anything busy or anything. Having big brothers is amazing to have because they are always fun to play with.

The stone that looked like a giant 

It was another rainy day at the palace, birds chirping in the trees. While I was going to get food, I saw a big stone that looked like a person trying to take shelter and coming out of the ground was frightening. I climbed up the palace, it was there since I got here I was freaked out the first time I saw it. The stone dashed to me while I stood still. My lawn was still okay but some of it was ripped into pieces.

I was frustrated with this stone. It was annoying and wasted my time getting food. “Mum! There’s a stone in front of our palace!” I called out the window I tried hitting it with my axe but it just broke, “what would we do mum?” “I asked just leave it alone it will go away later,” my mum said.

1 month later 

Finally, the monster went away now I can go to the shops to buy some more food.

Now that the monster has gone we can have a peaceful place to live
