the volcano eruption

It was a snowy day until I saw a big eruption coming from the volcano. I was going to explore the volcano and saw flickering lighting coming out of the smoke, it was coming from the volcano it was scary but cool because I could see a face forming because of the smoke and the lava bubbling under me I saw snow meltdown from the volcano, the flaming hot fire hit me and it felt like a flaming hot Cheeto and luckily there was a bit of snow unmelted, that was close, I continued exploring the volcano when I looked at the smoke I could see an owl face the stars were in the sky keeping a distance from the volcano erupting the volcano kept on rising the fire until it was full I kinda saw a beasty creature coming out and I actually heard a loud noise coming from the bottom of the volcano I ran back home to hide. I was still scared to go out because there was a lot of rumbling out there, I don’t know what to do though. Should I grab a gun? Yes, let's go get my dads ak 47 to beat the beasty creature I ran to get some ammo so I don’t run out so quickly now let’s go outside and shoot the creature boom! boom! The gun goes i”m about to run out of ammo, I ran back to the house to the last box of ammo that’s it I ran out of ammo and I defeated the mysterious creature “phew! That was hard” I said. Now we can go home and rest

the race descriptive writing

I see kids running in the wet stinky mud. It is freezing cold. Lots of trees behind them, parents watching them while the kids run. The kids jump over a big log. Parents and little kids are shivering they would drink hot milo. Some parents have long sleeves, the runners are getting muddy and cold, it is very chilly outside some parents don’t have jackets. I feel bad for the people who were running around the place, it’s like there in a swamp. Parents cheering for their kids making them go faster it might be winter there that’s why the parents are wearing jackets. It started spitting and the race is almost done, just one more lap to go one boy is coming to touch the finish line “we have a winner!” the teacher said. The boy was proud of himself, also his parents, he felt awesome.

Conclusion

I feel bad for them because they ran in the mud. I wouldn’t go there because it looked wet

the time my little brother ate chili

the time my little brother ate chili

My family was eating dinner, my mum told me to set the table. My brother really wanted candy, he thought that the chili was candy because it was red. I told my brother that it was chilli not candy but he didn’t listen to me.

He ate it and his face was red and I gave him water and he said that it was my fault and I said “you’re the one who didn’t listen to me.” My brother was crying again so my mum gave candy so he stopped crying but when we were actually eating dinner he didn’t want to eat.

My mum told him to eat but he didn't. I finished eating (my food is chicken and rice). I put my plate in the sink and I carried my brother to the table but he refused to eat and ran away. When I chased after him, he locked the door behind him. I called my mum to open the door. She grabbed her keys from her room and opened the door. My brother said “I will eat if you stop chasing me.” So he ate dinner and after he ate he fell asleep.

Now you know why little siblings cry a lot, hope you enjoyed my narrative writing.

how do banks work?

  How do banks work?

Introduction How do banks work?

Have you ever wanted to know what a bank is? Banks have been all around the world for thousands of years but do you know what they can do? They give you money and will give 2 percent of your money and that’s called interest. The bank borrows money from you, they agree to make a payment so you can get more money. Oh and by the way I didn’t tell you about a bank account. A bank account is when you keep the money. The bank keeps the money in a vault so nobody can steal it, a vault has a lock to protect it from getting stolen. When you get money from the bank the bank gives your money to somebody else and there’s this card that you can spend on because it’s saved in your bank account.

Paragraph 1

Sometimes the bank pays you money and 2 percent interest so you get more of the money you're getting, you can deposit money in your bank account, after that the bank will lend money to you, piggy banks can’t fit all your money that’ why there's a bank account a credit card needs a pin number up to 4 because if somebody steals it they will be able to spend anything. There are different kinds of banks in NZ (Anz, Asb,Bnz, Westpac and TSB).

Paragraph 2

Money is very important because if you didn’t you wouldn’t have food, it has been over a thousand years even in the 1900s, for example, you want $100 and you get $102 because of the 2 percent interest.

Paragraph 3

You get money from jobs and helping your parents almost every day, I get five dollars because I help my mum and dad do things, maybe you should help your parents so you can earn money to buy things.

Conclusion

Now you know how banks work I hope you do help your parents and earn money for yourself

A trip to the Philippines

A trip to the Philippines
I was in the airport so I could go on my flight to the Philippines the flight was in one hour, I was excited to go on the plane, it was my first time on a plane, I got to eat on the plane and watch a movie on the iPad it took so long to fly it took an hour to set it up, finally, it took off, my brothers were already sleeping and I was like “don’t sleep!!!!!” We can watch a movie.

After two days we arrived in the Philippines. It was already hot there. First I visited my grandma, then to my cousins, grandpa, and my other grandma, I was there for two weeks. We went to the swimming pool and the beach. My cousin and I made sandcastles and swam on the beach.

I was getting ready to swim after I finished swimming. We had to go back home when I was back  I gave my cousin a PS4, he liked he said thank you I was helping him set up the Ps4 so we could play. After two hours we finished the setup and now we could play Call of duty black ops4. I was happy that I was in the Philippines so I couldn't be bored at home. I was hot after swimming on the beach but I still had lots of fun. I was getting sleepy when I was playing on the PS4, I slept first then I played again. But I played on my computer because I was getting bored with the PS4, I was watching on my laptop.

We went out to see what was going on in the city, we went to Mcdonalds to eat then we went on a blue tricycle with seats on the back (motorcycle was blue) it was so cool to go on one of those so it was easier, there were no traffic lights there so everybody just drove it was busy so we had to wait a long time, I was getting so sleepy so I slept for a while we were waiting and I said this “hurry up already!!!” then we went, it took a long time to go.

When I woke up we were in my grandad’s farm with chickens, I carried one of them and they were so fluffy, her name was Sarah she was still a baby so I carried her softly. I got really hungry luckily there was food, there was donut’s, pie’s and a sandwich, I ate all of the food on the table I got really full.

After two weeks I went back to Auckland.
